With a background of over 25 years in environment and energy matters, Gary’s roles have included Head of Environment (MD) for a major multi-disciplinary international consultancy. He has applied is knowledge of energy hedging together with a detailed knowledge of Ireland’s unique electricity market to successfully develop industry leading solutions to utility management for local clients. Gary enjoys competitive sailing, racing weekly in Belfast Lough during the summer months, and tinkering with all things mechanical during the winter.

Following Marketing roles with Unipart and Audi UK Charles returned to N Ireland with Volkswagen UK looking after the 10 dealers who enjoy that franchise locally. Charles’ knowledge of the electricity business arose from developing wind turbine sites for local landowners. Renewable Energy generation was the seed from which the business grew. Charles is a keen cruising sailor, often escaping to Strangford Lough regardless of rain or sun.

Following a highly successful career in Corporate & Business Banking with Danske Bank Ivan has migrated to a Portfolio Career, allowing him to work across a number of business interests. Ivan advises on strategy and Busines Development as well introducing us to the leaders of N Irelands most successful businesses. Ivan spends much of his time on various voluntary boards including roles as Vice Chair of Cancer Focus NI and as a Board Trustee of the Presbyterian Children’s Society. He is also Chairperson of NIPanC (Northern Ireland Pancreatic Cancer) and also Chairman of CSNICC (Civil Service North of Ireland Cricket Club).

Ian comes from an accounting background having worked for Price Waterhouse in Belfast, Coopers & Lybrand in the Cayman Islands, the Northern Ireland Audit Office and in his own public sector focussed practice. He has developed software models that mirror the Irish Electricity Market, allowing detailed budgeting and mis-billing analysis. Ian has also written a commercially available reporting tool called Onion for Sage 50 accounting software. A proud grandfather to Edie, he is often to be found pram pushing on the streets of East Belfast.

Alison joined Renewable Partnerships from First Trust Bank following a specialism in Audit. She manages our interface with each of the suppliers that we work with, ensuring that the new business and renewals are managed without error. She manages the outputs from our Database so ensuring the process of up-to-date and lowest pricing is maintained for our clients.
